Srinagar, June 17: Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory (UT) administration on Thursday ordered transfer and postings of 26 senior officers in the interest of administration, an official spokesman said this afternoon.
He said the General Administration department issued the transfer and posting orders besides relieved two officers of the additional charges today.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Tourism Development Authority, Gulmarg, Inam-ul-Haq Sidiqui will be new Joint Director, Information, Kashmir.
As per the order, Inspector General of Registration, J&K, Rukhsana Gani, JKAS has been transferred and posted as Chairperson, J&K Special Tribunal, relieving Sarita Chauhan, IAS, of the additional charge of the post.
Rehana Batul, JKAS, under orders of transfer as Commissioner, Survey and Land Records, J&K with additional charge of the post of Secretary in the Revenue Department has been transferred and posted as Secretary to the Government, Public Grievances, relieving Simrandeep Singh, IAS, of the additional charge of the post, Special Secretary to the Government, Department of Forest, Ecology, and Environment, Amit Sharma, JKAS has been transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, JaKeGA, relieving Simrandeep Singh, IAS, of the additional charge of the post, Director, Industries, and Commerce, Kashmir, Nazim Zia Khan has been transferred and posted as Secretary in the Skill Development Department and Additional District Development Commissioner, Pulwama, Narinder Singh Bali, JKAS, has been transferred and posted as Secretary in the Department of Forest, Ecology and Environment.
The order said Managing Director, J&K Cable Car Corporation, Majid Khalil Ahmed Drabu, JKAS, has been transferred and posted as Controller, Legal Metrology, J&K, Controller, Legal Metrology, J&K, Mohammed Akbar Wani, JKAS, has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, J&K Cable Car Corporation, Special Secretary to the Government, Department of Floriculture, Parks and Gardens, Rifat Arif, JKAS, has been transferred and posted as Secretary in the Department of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Special Secretary to the Government, Housing and Urban Development Department, Sheikh Arshad Ayub, JKAS, has been transferred and posted as Inspector General of Registration, J&K, Farooq Ahmed Shah, JKAS, awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary in the Housing and Urban Development Department and Kusum Badyal, JKAS, awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, to the Government, Industries, and Commerce Department.
