RMPS conducts quiz competition

Jammu, Jun 17: R M Public School conducted a quiz competition for the students of classes 7th and 8th to judge their knowledge of Yoga under the ongoing celebrations leading to International Yoga Day. The programme was conducted by Arti Gupta under the guidance of the incharge Vishal Gupta.
In the beginning of the programme, Vishal Gupta, incharge presented a virtual bouquet to the Director Rakshin Mengi and the Principal Shuchita Gupta.
Arti Gupta, Coordinator presented a virtual bouquet to the incharge Vishal Gupta. The quiz master for class 7th was Shiwani while for 8th, the questions were asked by Sapna. The quiz was conducted in two rounds. The students of both the classes participated in the programme with enthusiasm. They displayed their knowledge and skill by answering the questions in both the rounds earnestly. It was amazing to witness the vigour and zeal of the participants. Amazingly, both the quiz ended in a tie with students being able to answer almost all the questions.
As expected, the tension for the results was palpable and students were exited when they were announced. In 7th class, first position was bagged by Blue team (Mehak,Devam and Rahul) while the second position went to Red Team (Daiwik, Mannat Sharma and Smarth), Green Team (Dhanika, Sahajdeep, Mannat Gandotra) and also Pink Team (Navya, Aditi and Prabhgun).
In 8th class, first position was bagged by Blue team (Sarthak Jasmeen and Jaideep),Yellow team (Abhinav , Nirpnder and R. Rinesh) and Green team (Harman,Aarav and Yashika) and second position bagged by Red Team (Adity, Akshra and Omesh)
The director of the school, Rakshin Mengi was impressed by the knowledge and preparedness of the students and appreciated them. He also reminded the students the importance of health and the usefulness of yoga in maintaining our physical, mental and emotional health. The Principal Shuchita Gupta encouraged the students and appreciated not only the students but also the parents who helped them prepare for the quiz. The programme ended with the vote of thanks by Arti Gupta.
