Jammu, Jun 18: Celebrating the Yoga Week on the eve of 7th International Yoga Day 2021, NSS Unit of Govt. Degree College R. S. Pura organized an Online Essay Writing Competition on the theme “Yoga As A Way Of Life” under the guidance of the Principal, Dr. G. S. Rakwal and supervision of Prof. Bindu Kumari, NSS Programme Officer.
A large number of students participated in the activity and expressed the benefits of yoga practices in the holistic development of body, mind and spirit. Gayatari Devi of sem. 4th bagged Ist position whereas Madhu Sharma and Monika Sapolia of sem. 6th bagged 2nd and 3rd position respectively. The event was judged by Prof. Vishal Sharma and Prof. Sukhwinder Kaur. The Principal of the college encouraged the students to inculcate yoga in their daily routine and appreciated the efforts of NSS unit of the college for organising the event. |
