Early Times Report

Rajouri, June 18: At a time when India has been testing 5G network in India and giving slogan of ‘Digital India’ such claims seem to be have no relevance for the residents of Panchayat Deing Kalal of Nowshera Sub Division, who have been facing difficulty due to no mobile network as result around 80 percent of population has decided to migrate to other place. Sarpanch Deing Kalal, Ramesh Choudhary informed Early Times that the border village has been kept out of mobile connectivity due to which people can’t communicate in the digital era, when technology in communication has been advancing with each passing day.
He further said that the residents have been doing all for the better future of their children but due to no network, the online study remains off, which has ultimately affected the future of students. After seeing hope, the majority of residents have been planning to move from this area so that their families might get all facilities, especially children, who are only dependent on mobile networks, he added.
Although a mobile tower was installed on 26-10-2020 but it has not been activated till date by the concerned network service provider. “Former DC Rajouri Aijaz Asad had taken initiative to install the mobile tower in this border village but till date it has not been activated,” he added.
ADC Nowshera, Sukhdev Singh Sambyal said that they had taken up this issue with the concerned mobile network service provider many times but till date no step has been taken to start the service.
