JAMMU, June 19: Citizen’s Forum appeal to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to please release Rs. 3000 crores as promised by you during your visit to Jammu in May 2018 in Samba for development of Jammu Tourism. A plan for village tourism in Jammu was also announced in that Rally by you. We have received Rs. 1.60 lakh a petty amount in the name of Jammu Tourism till date.
R K Chadha President of the forum said the scams and corruptions are always done by the knowledge of governments of the day and these are to be rectified by the existing governments. The Jammu Tawi Lake project was left half way because of same reasons and still it is not revived even after its completion of 80% job.
A Gujrat Sabarmati front type plan was approved by you to be created around this Tawi Lake , but people of Jammu, perhaps have to wait for decades to fulfill this dream by Jammu Tourism Department.
The Jammu Tourism department is unable to create a small Barage on Jhajjar Kotli river to create a beautiful lake for Katra, Vaishno Devi visitors in last 12 years. |
