REASI, June 21: To promote the concept of ‘Access to Justice to All’ which is deeply embedded in the Constitutional Vision District Legal Services Authority, Reasi, today organized an On-line program on the topic “The Protection of Children From Sexual Offences Act, 2012 along with its Amendments” in collaboration with High Secondary School (G), Reasi and Girls High School Katra.
The event was held under the able-guidance and supervision of R.N.Wattal, the DLSA Chairman, while Gypsy Badyal, Member Child Welfare Committee, Reasi acted as a resource person and Advocate Raj Kumar was the moderator in the said program.
Rekha Kapoor Nischal, Secretary DLSA Reasi gave an introductory address on the topic.
The resource Persons discussed in detail about the historical background and also the provisions of The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 along with its Amendments in a simple and dignified manner.
A film on Child Sexual Abuse was also screened and shared with the participants with the assistance of the System Officer.
At the end of the program Child Helpline No: 1098 was also shared with the participants.
