JAMMU, June 21: Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council today organised a Yoga session at the Lawns of Hari Niwas Jammu to mark the celebration of 7th International Yoga Day 2021.
Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr Raghav Langer was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
The participants performed yoga Asanas and pranayamas under the guidance of yoga experts and amid strict adherence to Covid Safety protocols.
The Div Com, while speaking on the occasion, said that doing Yoga helps in maintaining physical, mental as well as spiritual health of a person. He urged the people to make yoga a routine in their life for staying fit and maintaining Physical, mental and Spiritual health, especially in the time of Pandemic.
Other dignitaries also highlighted the importance of Yoga.
On the occasion, ISM AYUSH immunity boosters were distributed among the students, participants.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Satish Sharma; Divisional Sports Officer, Ashok Singh; Chief Accounts Officer, Zaffar Iqbal; Dr. Sandeep Bhagat from ISM besides other officers were present on the occasion. |
