| Construction of lane & drain begins in ward No 73 | | | | Jammu, June 22 : Construction of lane and drain work in Azaad Nagar at Sahebzada Baba Zorawar Singh Lane - 1 , upper Gadigarh was inaugurated after offering the ardas by Sant Baba Kuldeep Singh ji in presence of Councilor of ward - 73 Gadigarh, Prof ( Dr) Youdhvir Singh . The constructional lane and drain was long pending demand of the residents of the area and its completion will give a sigh of relief from water logging resulting in malaria and Dengue spread during the Rainy season. On this occasion , councilors briefed the residents that the drain & street will be completed at the cost of 10.50 lakhs and will be boon for the people . On this occasion , few deputation from the adjoining localities also requested the councilor to develop their lane and drain too which was positively assured to be done in near future and also requested to keep patience as the ward is too large and the augmentation of funds is very slow due to COVID Pandemic situation in Country. Baba Kuldeep Singh also spoke on the occasion and advised the public to cooperate with the engineering wing Div- IV of MCJ so that the project is completed smoothly and in time . He also assured the Engineering section on behalf of Mohalla residents of all possible help. |
