| Ayush B'pora felicitates best performers of Yoga Week | | |  Early Times Report
BANDIPORA, July 8: The Department of Ayush district Bandipora today held a felicitation ceremony to felicitate participants and instructors who participated in yoga week. Speaking on the occassion, the ADDC Bandipora Afsar Ali Khan said that yoga provides flexibility to stressed mind and body. He said with the changing lifestyle in contemporary times the importance of Yoga has increased as it helps to relax our bodies and mind.
He urged people to spare some time for their own self and practice yoga exercises for healthy mind and soul.
On the occasion Joint Director Planning Bandipora Imtiyaz Ahmad lauded the efforts of Ayush for conducting online and offline yoga session. He said ayush also worked shoulder to shoulder during COVID-19 pandemic. He said to become extra ordinary we have to do extra than ordinary and urged department of Ayush Bandipora to start online yoga sessions again.
Speaking on the occasion Nodal officer ISM Bandipora Dr Reyaz Ahmad said yoga helps us to fight with daily lifestyle diseases and ayush is going to bring a change at grassroots level in order to help people in prevention of diseases. He hinted at organising more online sessions for wider reach. |
