| KVK holds e-training programme on extension approaches | | | Early Times Report
DODA, July 24: A one day e-training programme on extension teaching methods for technology transfer for the extension functionaries of Agriculture Production and Farmers' Welfare Department Doda was today conducted by Krishi Vigyan Kendra Doda through Google meet.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr J.P. Sharma, Vice Chancellor, SKUAST Jammu and was organized by the team of scientists of KVK Doda headed by Dr S.K. Gupta Director Extension SKUAST Jammu. 38 Agriculture Extension functionaries from different zones of District Doda attended the programme through virtual mode.
The programme started with welcome address by Dr AS Charak Senior Scientist & Head KVK Doda. Dr Narinder Paul, Scientist KVK Doda gave a detailed presentation on the different extension approaches for effective execution of the extension work and smooth implementation of the various famer development and promotional schemes. These approaches, he said have great impact on the overall efforts of the extension professionals to achieve the objectives of the schemes not only to increase the productivity but also farmers income. A group discussion was also held on techniques of various individual, group and mass extension contact methods pertinent to the farmers' innovation-decision process and adopter categories. Diwakar Anand, Arti Sharma, Manjeet Bhagat, Asif Iqbal, Yasir Tak, Rajesh Kumar, Vijay Singh, ajit Kumar and other JAEOs/AEAs attended the programme. At the end of the programme formal vote of thanks was presented by Dr GN Jha, Scientist KVK Doda. |
