Kishtwar, July 24: In another tragic accident at project site of 1000 MW Pakal-Dool power project in Dool area of Kishtwar District, 48 year old identified as Noor Hussain Lone son of Gushoor Lone R/o Dool Kishtwar died while on duty.
As per the details available with Early Times, the incident took place late last night allegedly due to lack of safety equipments that is believed to be the one reason for the death of Noor Hussain Lone, father of three young daughters and one minor male child.
As soon as the incident took place, the labourers working at the construction site immediately raise the alarm, but he died on spot due head injuries since he had no helmet and other safety equipments since the AFCON management fail to provide safety equipments to the workers and labourers working at the construction site.
The labourers said they company even fail to provide boots to them added that they prefer to remain silent since they are job less and fear expulsion.
They demanded stern police action against the management of the AFCON for putting the lives of the labourers at risk.
When contacted Assistant Commissioner Labour informed that he will look into the matter in terms of safety equipments provided to the deceased labour at the time of the accident.
The labourers called upon the Commissioner Secretary Labour and Employment to conduct surprise visit at under construction project sites so as to examine the facilities being given to them by the project management.
Meanwhile the dead body of the deceased was handed over to the family members after completion of all the legal formalities.
