GCOE organizes alumni meet

Jammu, Aug 7: The Government College of Education organized the much-awaited Alumni Meet- The homecoming 2021, at the GCOE campus with over 20 alumni members attending the event online and offline.
The college took this opportunity to felicitate some stalwarts as Alumni’s like Prof. Dr. Minnie Sharma (Principal, Bhagwatinagar), Prof. Seema Mir (Principal Parmandal), Madam Shweta sharma (IFS),
The alumni meet started with an invocation song seeking the blessings of the almighty. The hosts of the event, Ravinder Kumar and Aakriti Kour invited the dignitaries to occupy the dais. To start the occasion on an auspicious note, the Principal Dr. Kulvinder Kour proceeded to the dais for the lighting of the lamp, accompanied by some alumni members and some professors.
A vote of valedictory address was presented by Principal Dr. Kulvinder Kour and averred that the motive of organizing this alumni meet is to provide a platform to all the alumni of this glorious institution to share their success stories with each other and also to motivate the others to follow the path of success. She further maintained that during this mega event, GCOE will be welcoming the alumni from the last various batches to the present ones. A documentary showcasing the achievements of GCOE was also presented along with the visual highlights of the last alumni meet. A vote of thanks was given by Dr. Shubhra Jamwal and she thanked the various organizers, alumni members of the event. She also thanked the management of GCOE for the support and guidance which has made Alumni Meet 2021 a grand success. Prof. C.L. Shivgotra, Prof. Sarita Dogra, Prof. Anuradha Seth, Prof. Anuradha Choudhary, Prof. Shapia Shameem Bhatti, Prof. Satish Sharma, Prof. Deep Bnagotra, Prof. Vinay Lata, Prof. Shalini Rana, Dr. Mandeep Singh, Mr. Deep K. Bangotra were also present on the occasion. Feedback was taken by all alumni members at the end of the event.
