Sikh organizations discuss Afghan situation

JAMMU, Aug 27: An emergency meeting of various Sikh Organizations J&K held under the chairmanship of S Sudarshan Singh Wazir Chairman Jammu Kashmir Sikh United Front, In the meeting Sikh organizations participated to discuss the present situation in Afghanistan and role of Indian government.
The JK Sikh United front thanked the Indian government for its efforts to bring three swaroopa of Guru' Granth Sahib from Kabul which are received by Union Minister Sh Hardeep Singh Puri and Sh RP Singh at New Delhi kept at Delhi Gurdwara keeping the sanctity of swaroopa of Guru Granth Sahib, it is also appealed to the Indian government to make efforts to ensure the safety and protection of the worship places in Afghanistan.
They appreciated the Prime minister of india Narinder Modi, Home minister Amit Shah, external affairs minister S Jaishanker and S Hardeep Singh Puri Mminister for housing and urban affairs and natural gas who made efforts at proper time in evacuation of citizens from war-ravaged Afghanistan when Taliban entered the presidential palace in Kabul and declared it's victory over government after one month's violence in Afghanistan. It is also praise worthy as India had announced that it would issue an emergency e-visa to Afghan National who wants to come to India in view of the prevailing situation in Afghanistan as the Taliban captured the power there Hundreds of people has been evacuated irrespective of their religion and all who want to come to our country can apply for e-emergency X-Misc visa on line and applications will be processed in new Delhi. The Sikh United front appealed the Indian government to make efforts to ensure the security of lives and properties in Afghanistan of evacuated peoples.
