Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 27: RK Chadha President Citizen's Forum today requested LG Manoj Sinha to enquire as why the press releases of Forum have been banned to be published in newspapers of Jammu.
Chadha said Citizen's Forum was formed by former MLAs and top political and government associates in 1965. One of the founder member Mr.Amrit Malhotra has been Chairman J&K Legislative Assembly recently, other members were late Balraj Puri, Om Saraf and Ved Bhasin.
In 1991-92 this Forum was officially handed over to me as president. The first member in new set up was included Dr. Jitendera Singh the present MOS PMO as General Secretary of the forum.
Citizen's Forum has many top ex ministers, MPs, and top Lawyers of Jammu region. Now at present its members are highly qualified former Chief Engineers, Lawyers, businessmen, Doctors, and educated members and women educationists. we use to give their names in our press release for demands of Jammu region development. This forum never demanded any favour or money from any citizen of Jammu.
Some political leaders and kashmiri Pandits started abusing and insulting us for our Jammu development demands and Dr. Jitendera Singh saw to it that they are shut up. We understand our demands for Jammu development frustrate them and so with the help of top political leaders they are trying to stiffle our voice and demands.
"We have always looked towards Centeral Government and our Prime MInister for the future of Jammu. Our demands for Jammu will continue, which are Equal share and Shifting of Kashmiri Pandits back to Kashmir their motherland with dignity. we dont want Jammu be made a permanant Refugees city", Chadha said.
