| Ex legislator kick starts upgradation work of lanes | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 27: Former Minister and Ex MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) along with Corporator Ward 9 Suneet Raina kickstarted the upgradation work of lanes and drains in various locations of Karan Nagar, Ustad Mohalla and Narania Mohalla. A large number of people were also present including local residents and political activists of the area.
The works will be done at an estimated cost of Rs 26 lakhs and the funds were allotted to the Councillor for the purpose of the work.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that such works are being taken up in every Ward of Jammu West and all BJP Corporators are ensuring that all areas in their Wards are covered under it and development reaches to every nook and corner. He said there has been massive development in every Ward of Jammu West and Contractors must also ensure that the works being taken up in various areas should be of best quality so that the public must not suffer in future. District Secretary BJP Asha Gupta, District President Mahila Morcha Radha Sharma, Jyoti Bhat, Avinash Kour, Poonam, Neeru, Deepak Kumar, Kuldeep Mahajan, Madan, Sudhir Singh and several others were also present. |
