JAMMU, Aug 27: Shri Lakhsmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust Gandhi Nagar Jammu held a meeting of the trust today under the chairmanship of Thakur Gulchain Singh Charak, Former Minister and President of the Trust at Mandir Complex Gandhi Nagar, Jammu to discuss the arrangements for the celebration of forth coming festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami falling on 30th of August, 2021 a famous and important festival of Hindus which is celebrated on the birthday of Lord Krishna by all Hindus throughout the world.
Keeping in view the prevailing situation due to Covid-19, it was decided that Rath yatra being taken out every year will not be taken out this year. It was decided to illuminate the whole of Mandir complex properly as per past practice.
Various Sub-Committees were constituted for the arrangement of Prasad, to ensure proper implementation of SOP's and guidelines issued by Health Department, to maintain proper discipline and to distribute the Prasad properly after 12 o'clock in the night,
President advised all the members of the committees to take proper measures in view of the present situation so that the devotees are able to have proper darshan of Lord Krishna and take part in the Puja and Arti observing proper guidelines issued by the administration. It was also decided that suitable arrangements for masks, sanitizer, temperature measuring instrument and hand washing arrangements at the main entry of the temple complex.
The Sub-Committees will also ensure that the number of devotees visiting the temple should be allowed in the batches numbering 25 persons only at a time. The members of the arrangement committee will ensure that proper decoration in and around temple should be done before hand. Lastly all the trusties and special invitees of the Trust were requested to be present during the whole celebrations.
Among others who attended the meeting are Sarv Shri. S.C. Rekhi (Gen. Secy), Deepak Gupta (Treasure), Sh. K.B. Jandial, Dr. C.M.Sethi, Sh. V.K. Abrol, Harish Malhotra, Karan Singh, Kulbhushan Bali, Jagjit Singh Jamwal, P.C. Gupta, Rajeshwar Singh Jamwal, Krishan P. Gupta, Yash Paul, Ved Verma, Tarun Gupta, Prashant Sharma and Vikas Sharma all trusties and special invitees.
