NYK Jammu holds DACYP meeting

JAMMU, Aug 27: A meeting of District Advisory Committee for Youth Programs of Nehru Yuva Kendra Jammu was held today in the office chamber of the Additional District Development Commissioner Jammu.
The agenda of the meeting was to discuss and finalize the Annual Action Plan of NYK Jammu for the year 2021-22. The Chairman of the Committee was Additional District Development Commissioner Jammu.
Some observations were put forth by the Chairman during the meeting such as Devising a mechanism of all the activities to be organised in collaboration with District Administration Jammu for better outcomes, Preponing of some of the programmes which are to be held in later part of the year, Ensuring the Participation of the youth associated with NSS and NCC, Coordination with NSS and NCC should be ensured, Medical Department to assist NYK Jammu in programmes regarding awareness of Covid-19 Appropriate Behaviours and Covid-19 Vaccination, Reporting of the programme undertaken should be ensured, District Administration should be made aware about the outcomes.
The Additional District Development Commissioner directed for submission of List of youth associated with various Youth Clubs of NYKS Jammu. He also directed to enhance the number of registrations of youth under Mumkin scheme in the District.
