Art of Living organizes programme at Ved Mandir

JAMMU, Aug 27: The Art of Living Jammu Chapter Volunteers team organized "An evening of bliss" for the children of the Ved Mandir. The event started with the enthusiastic participation of children in games on team building and other mindful activities. The students engaged themselves and participated with great keenness. This was followed by a 45-minute musical jam by Guest Singer Himanshu Gupta. The children sang and danced to the soulful tunes of Bollywood and devotional genres. Several NGOs and bloggers also became a part of the lively musical evening.
The children learnt some yogic and meditation techniques from The Art Of Living volunteers' enthusiastic team, including Ritvik Mahajan, Akshita Sharma, Sunny Sharma, Dr Kanika Sharma, Dr Aashima Singh and Ranjoy Gupta.The students also learned about the importance of breath and meditation to boost immunity and increase lung capacity. The session concluded on a patriotic note by Bhanu Mahajan, Corporator Gandhi Nagar block, the honourable guest, and prayers by Himanshu Gupta, the guest singer.
The team presented the guests and supporting members with goodies from Sri Sri Tattva as a token of gratitude and appreciation. Sri Sri Tattva, an ayurvedic and organic brand, aims to promote health and wellness to every household and support AOL's rural and urban welfare projects.
