| Civil defence wardens hold meeting | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 2: A meeting of Civil Defence Warden was held at Civil Defence Control Room Jammu.
The meeting chaired by Rajesh Sharma Dy.SP. Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu. The meeting was attended by the following CD warden of CD Jammu Paramjir Kumar Chief Warden CD Jammu, Vinod Sharma Divisional Warden CD Jammu, R. Vijay Mangotra Dy. Divisional Warden CD Jammu, Vimal Pandita Post Warden CD Jammu, Gurdeep Kour Post warden CD Jammu, Amit Nayar Post warden CD Jammu.
Besides a large number of Sector wardens of CD Jammu have also attended the meeting.
Addressing the meeting Dy. Controller CD Jammu appreciated the role of Civil Defence wardens who had performed an important role during the COVID -19 Pandemic and the role of Civil Defence in the human life. He also stressed upon the motto of the Civil Defence i.e. selfless services of C.D. volunteer to the nation as and when required.
The CD wardens were asked to organise Medical Camps in their respective areas to facilitate the public by vaccination and other medical facilities in their door step. CD wardens were also requested to organise large number of awareness camps in their areas along with CD Instructors with regard to preventive measures during Earth Quake, Fire Fighting, First Aid, Floo d Rescue & Drug menace etc. The meeting was concluded with vote of thanks by Chief Warden CD Jammu. |
