Leaders taunt people of Jammu for beating dhools after abrogation of Articles 370, 35-A

Jammu, Sept 2: Leaders of Kashmir centric parties- be it National Conference or Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), are ‘elated’ over ‘prevailing anarchy and chaos’ in the Jammu region during the last year.
They are not only ‘thrilled’, but also optimistic to make inroads in the Jammu region in the next Assembly elections by ‘exploiting’ the prevailing anger among people of this region due to governance deficit.
Former Chief Minister and National Conference vice-president Omar Abdullah’s statement in Jammu on Wednesday was a clear indication that the party is going to aggressively channelize Jammuities anger against the present dispensation.
The anti-people policies- being pursued by a coterie of bureaucrats, have rendered hundreds of people jobless in Jammu province. Furthermore, the widening gap between government and masses has further alienated people against the present regime, which appears to be taking this part of the Union Territory (UT) ‘for granted’.
When a reporter asked Omar Abdullah about the creation of employment opportunities in the UT, especially after the abrogation of Article 370, Omar Abdullah seized this opportunity to remind people of Jammu about various drastic steps being taken by this regime to render them jobless. He especially mentioned the decision of the UT administration to stop the annual ‘Darbar Move’. A senior PDP leader and former minister chided Jammuities for enjoying the taste of one of the best governments in the history of J&K after the abrogation of Article 370. “Jammuities had celebrated abrogation of Article 370 and 35-A with a hope that this action will change their destiny but now they are regretting”, the PDP leader said and especially mentioned towards the style of some bureaucrats who are working with a colonial mindset to make people of Jammu jobless.
“Those who were dancing on the beats of Dhools on August 5, 2019, in Jammu to taunt their Kashmir brethren have now realized that governments of Kashmir centric parties were more humane and people-friendly than the present inhuman regime controlled by bureaucratic oligarchy”, he told a group of youth of Jammu.
Kashmir-centric parties have reasons to taunt people for Jammu because residents of this part of UT were facing the wrath of the anti-people policies of the present BJP controlled administration.
Although the UT administration has taken some decisions for the whole region, the people of the Jammu region are the worst suffers from some drastic decisions like abrogation of Self-Self Groups, allowing mafias to work in different sector sectors etc.
