Jammu, Sept 5: Citizen’s Forum has welcomed the efforts of Prime Minister Narender Modi as well as USA’s president J Biden to create a country for Taliban, where they could live peacefully.
“The western efforts to isolate Taliban are diluting and many countries are thinking on these lines to provide financial help and recognition to the Taliban to address three genuine concerns of the international community”, they said, adding that India will be the most beneficial country if it creates normal and friendly ties with Taliban, by making this surprise move in the face of Western efforts to isolate the Taliban regime, or if they are allowed to join Pakistan and China for want of financial and other help.
“Our interest will be accommodated by the grateful Mullahs. A diplomatic foothold will also neutralise anti India groups. We feel Kashmir will start feeling relieved of Pakistan Militancy in Kashmir which India Government has already almost decimated”, they said. |
