| Administration evicts 22 illegal occupation of migrant property in Anantnag | | |

ANANTNAG, Sept 26: The district administration in a major drive evicted 22 illegal occupation on Kashmiri pandit migrant properties and land in this south Kashmir district, officials said.
The Union Territory (UT) administration has recently opened online portal and urged Kashmiri migrant pandits to registered their grievances regarding illegal occupation on their properties in the valley.
Officials said that 22 evictions on migrants' land and properties in the district have been carried out while nine "Lagan" notices have been issued and 10 demarcations have also been completed so far.
The district administration has taken various steps to address migrant issues besides complaints filed by them through online portal and offline mode.
The revenue officers and other concerned departments have been given clear directions to address the grievances concerning the land and property of the migrants. |
