Top official likely to go on central deputation soon

Jammu, Sept 26: A senior official in the Jammu and Kashmir government is likely to go on central deputation soon.
Sources said the official, who was previously J&K Cadre in the prestigious Indian Administrative Services, was likely to go on central deputation for two years and is likely to be posted in the national capital.
It was reliably learnt that his case for the central deputation has been almost cleared by the central government and that orders in this regard would be issued soon.
Sources said the J&K government has got “feelers” from New Delhi that the said official would be taken on the central deputation by the government led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
The said official in presently working in the Civil Secretariat and is seen among the most experienced officials at the helm in the government.
It’s pertinent to mention that in the last two-three years such deputations have been witnessed quite frequently while some of the officials from elsewhere have also been posted in J&K. Very recently, the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) is understood to have cleared deputation of two senior IPS officers of AGMUT (Arunachal Pradesh Goa Mizoram Union Territories) cadre, presently posted in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh and deputation of another senior officer is awaiting clearance.
The MHA is understood to have given nod to the Central deputation of a DIG and that he is likely to be posted in the prestigious organization of Central Bureau of Investigations (CBI) in view of his experience and reputation he enjoys.
Several officials from states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Rajasthan have also been sent on deputation to Jammu and Kashmir.
As per officials, such deputations are aimed at deliverance of good governance and to bring in vibrancy in the system.
