JAMMU, Oct 4: Regional Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Jammu, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship in association with Directorate of Skill Development, Government of J&K organized an apprenticeship mela at Jammu ITI to promote the apprenticeship in the state by creating awareness and registering the apprentices and establishments for engaging the apprentices.
S. Santhimanalan, ISDS, Regional Director/ Regional Central Apprenticeship Advisor, RDSDE, Government of India, Sudershan Kumar, Director, Skill Development Department/State Apprenticeship Advisor were present on the occasion. Other dignitaries present were Farooq Ahmed Khan, Joint Director Skill Development Department, Jammu, V K Saksena, ISDS, Deputy Director/Regional Deputy Central Apprenticeship Advisor, Government of India and others.
On the occasion, Principal (Sr Scale) ITI Jammu welcomed all the dignitaries and representatives of Bari Brahmana Industries Association, M/s A M Industries, Jai Beverages Ltd., Preyest Denfro Ltd. Sunpharma Ltd and Emicure Ltd.
Director, Skill Development highlighted the achievements of the Department in the field of Apprenticeship.
The Joint Director, Skill Development Department Jammu requested the industry cluster Bari Brahmana/establishments to engage fresher / ITI pass out trainees as apprentice trainees. |
