Don’t issue health, rations cards without COVID-19 vaccination certificate: Kishtwar Admin directs officials

Jammu, Oct 5: In a significant development to achieve the 100% vaccination target and much needed health insurance policy card commonly known as “Sehat Card or Golden Health Card”, the Assistant Director Food Civil Services & Consumer Affairs Department Kishtwar on the instruction of DC Kishtwar ordered that no consumer will be provided with ration until and unless they will produce copy of vaccination and health card.
As per the details available with Early Times, AD FCS&CA vide order No. AD/FCS&CA/K/2021-22/1474-73 Dated 4-10-2021 stated that “whereas, in order to complete the process of 100% COVID 19 vaccination and generation of Golden Health Cards under Ayushman Bharat scheme, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar has telephonically directed undersigned to direct field functionaries of FCS&CA Kishtwar to inform all the rationees at the time of distribution of ration, who are eligible to COVID 19 vaccination and generate Golden Health Card and fetch ration accordingly” reads the order. The order further directed all the Tehsil Supply Officers to instruct all the salesman & FPS dealers to collect photo copy of COVID 19 vaccination certificate and Golden Health card at the time of distribution of the ration added that no ration will be issued to the rationees in any case in case they fail to produce the photo copy of the same.
