| 'Govt representatives doing nothing except sending condemnation press notes' | | | JAMMU, Oct 7: Mula Ram former minister and Vice President JKPCC along with Hari Singh Chib President DCC Jammu Rural condemned the government for not doing enough to provide security to common man in the Valley.
In a joint statement issued here after visiting the residence of the deceased teacher Deep Chand, who is from Paloura and presently residing at Patoli Magotra was shot dead by terrorists while he was on duty at Govt Boys Higher secondary School Eidgah in Srinagar, the senior Congress leaders mourned demise of the teachers who faced the brunt of terrorism today morning. They said that governments both at the Centre and in the UT have lost relevance as the entire administration in J&K busy in PR exercise of ministers of PM Narendra Modi’s government and are least bothered about the security and safety of the people.
Mula Ram and Hari Singh Chib said that over last three months the security situation in the UT has worsened with terrorists acting on their free will without any fear of law or law implementing agencies. They said it is unfortunate that J&K is witnessing terror acts on almost a regular basis but the government representatives are doing nothing except sending big press notes in the media condemning the incidents and giving counter threats of strong action against terror mongers.
The senior Congress leader said that the government should act tough and catch hold of the perpetrators of the terror in the Valley to teach lesson of life to terror mongers and ensure that they face law at the earliest. |
