DC Poonch listens to people’s grievances
Assures time bound redress of genuine demands

POONCH, Oct 20: District Administration Poonch under the headship of District Development Commissioner, Inder Jeet, organised a Block Diwas programme of block Poonch and listened to public issues at Dakbunglow Poonch.
The programme witnessed immense response from the public from all walks of life.
During the programme, PRI members and locals raised various development related issues including like Khanater to Chroon road, Khari Derian to Degwar road, and shifting of Niabat from Gulpur to Degwar, upgradation of Degwar high school, construction of Degwar high school road, networking in border areas, construction of protection band at Dalara, providing electric pools and electric wire, repair of water pipe lines in Kawarian and others areas, protection band near shamshan ghat Dara upper, construction of road from main road to shamshan ghat, completion of all PHE ongoing schemes, and all developmental related issued were discussed.
Responding to the demands, the Deputy Commissioner issued instructions to all the concerned departments and executing agencies to complete the works in time bound manner. He directed the officers to work in coordination so that equitable development is ensured.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the main aim of conducting such programmes is to improve service delivery and grievances redress mechanism.
He also appealed to people and PRIs to cooperate with the administration to achieve the new heights in terms of development in the district and also appeal the PRIs to monitor and supervise all the ongoing developmental works and check their quality.
PRI Members, ASP, Liaqat Chowdhary, CEO Tourism, Dr. Mohd. Tanveer, ACD, Rajesh Lakha, XENs, DSWO, Shakeel Ahmed, CMO, G.A Malik, Tehsildar, BDO besides all concerned officers and prominent citizens were presents on the occasion.
