| GDC Udhampur organizes intra- college Mask Making contest | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, Oct 20: The Red Ribbon Club of Govt. Degree College, Udhampur in association with J&K AIDS control society, H&ME Department, Jammu organized an intra-College Mask Making contest as apart of Covid-19 Awareness campaign under the patronage of worthy Principal Prof. Subhash Chander Sharma. This awareness campaign was a part of implementation plan for New India @ 75. Students of the College actively participated in the event by making different types of hand made masks. The Mask making event was adjudged by the members of Red Ribbon Club GDC, Udhampur. Manisha Devi Sem. 2nd was adjudged first, 2nd position was secured by Harsha Thakur of Sem. 2nd and Rahul Kumar of Sem. 1st bagged 3rd position. The winners will be rewarded with cash prize of Rs 1000/-, Rs 750/- and Rs. 500/- respectively. In this event, students showed their creativity, enthusiasm and full potential. Principal of the College, Prof.Subhash Chander Sharma appreciated the efforts of all the participants and organizing team. He emphasized the need of organizing more such activities for increasing awareness about the role of wearing mask to control covid-19 pandemic among the masses. |
