| YCET organizes workshop on “My Story - Motivational Session by Successful Innovator” | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 15: The Department of Civil Engineering, Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) organized workshop on “My Story - Motivational Session by Successful Innovator” on 15th November, 2021 for Civil Engineering & Mechanical Engineering students.
The session began with welcome address by Er. Rajnish Magotra, HOD (Civil Engineering). Er. Dinesh Gupta, HOD (CSE / IT ) and President IIC Cell briefed students about IIC Cell. Dr. A. Murugesan, Professor, Placement Coordinator, IIC Innovation Ambassador at K S R Institute for Engineering & Technology, Tamil Nadu was the resource person who explained the importance of Innovation and discussed four key elements – Collaboration, Ideation, Implementation and Value Creation.
Dr. A. Murugesan discussed that how one can become innovator and contribute towards the upliftment of society.
During the presentation, he elaborated the two significant pillars of Innovation - Creativity & Commercialization. The session was quite interactive and the students felt fortunate enough to get an opportunity to attend this session for boosting their knowledge and converting the knowledge into wealth The guest remained highly commemorative of the efforts for organizing session.
Prof. ( Dr. ) A. K. Srivastava, Director, YCET appreciated the efforts of Civil & Mechanical Engineering Department and motivated the students to think out of box. Apart from their regular studies they should think about innovation and start-ups and become job givers instead of job seekers. He said that such session will be very helpful to the students. The session was coordinated by Er. Shivam Sharma, Coordinator of Civil Engineering Department who also gave a formal vote of thanks. |
