| Mayor inaugurates Lairage complex at Bhagwati Nagar | | |

Jammu, Nov 15: Continuing his endeavour to provide better development and civic amenities to the people of Jammu, Chander Mohan Gupta Jammu in presence of Advocate Purnima Sharma Deputy Mayor and Satpal Karlupia Councillor of ward no. 32 inaugurated the Lairage Building at Bhagwati Nagar Jammu. Anil Gupta Executive Engineer, Raman Kapoor Assistant Executive Engineer, concerned Junior Engineer & other supervisory staff of project Division were remained present there during the function. Speaking on the occasion, Mayor told that it is a very important project which was started about one and half year back with an allotted amount of RS.1.50crore and has been executed by the project division JMC and throws open for use by the veterinary section of JMC where all the requisite facilities with sufficient space/rooms have constructed for Goats/Sheeps to have their complete medical check-up before taking them for slaughtering in the slaughterhouse and the Municipal veterinary officer and concerned Staff will make it assure that the Goats/Sheep if suffering from any type of diseases will be separated after their medical examination.
Deputy Mayor Advocate Purnima Sharma also spoke on the occasion & told that this building has been constructed in a very eco- friendly atmosphere and has been located in an open area so that citizens of Jammu residing in different wards of city do not face inconvenience in their locality from these animals.
