| Ajay Sadhotra demands fair compensation for hailstorm, rain affected farmers | | |

JAMMU, Nov 16: National Conference leader Ajay Kumar Sadhotra today said that it is sad and unfortunate that after expiry of 22 days of crop loss due to heavy rains and hailstorm the government has failed to deliver compensation to Kisans. He said that it has exposed BJP govt’s anti Kisan mindset and insensitivity towards problems of the Kisans.
He was addressing one day convention of delegates and prominent workers of the Mandal Block at Sum. It is being told that Rs. 600 per Kanal compensation will be given and the same is cruel joke with Kisans since there is total loss of the crop. He urged the government Kisans should be given Rs. 1800 per Kanal compensation so that Kisans could cultivate next wheat crop also.
