ZSWO organizes awareness programme at Arnas

UDHAMPUR, Nov 16: Zila Sainik Welfare Officer (ZSWO) Udhampur, Col Sukhbir Singh Assla,(Retd) along with his team of officials under the aegis of Brig Gurmeet Singh Shan (Retd) Director Sainik Welfare Department organized an Ex-servicemen, widows and Veer Nari's meeting and awareness programme at Arnas, Distt Reasi in which Ex-servicemen, widows and veer Naris participated.
Zila Sainik Welfare Officer Udhampur, Col Sukhbir Singh Assla (Retd) briefed all about the various welfare activities undertaken for Veer Naris and Ex-servicemen. The attendees were encouraged to contact Zila Sainik Welfare Office Udhmapur to resolve the issue related to their part II order, pension documents, joint notifications, relationship & CDP certificates etc. They were made aware of the various grants available for utilization as they are meant for their welfare. He also appraised the ex-servicemen regarding on schemes and procedure to get loan to start any business as self employment under PMEGP schemes in collaboration with Khadi Village Industries Board in which 25% to 35% of subsidy for ESM. While speaking on the occasion Zila Sainik Welfare Officer assured the ESM/Veer Naris to provide every possible help to them.
A light refreshment was also organized for the Ex-servicemen, Widows and Veer Naris .
At last Zila Sainik Welfare Office has extended good wishes to all the ESM and Veer Naris.
