| DDC Doda discusses formulation of plans for Tribal, Tourist Villages | | Sets 7 day deadline for completion of Estimates, DPRs | |  Early Times Report
DODA, Nov 16: For the effective formulation of plans for Cluster Tribal Villages and Tourist Villages, DDC Doda Vikas Sharma today chaired a meeting of all stakeholders and officers of line departments here at the conference hall of DC office.
During the meeting, threadbare discussion was held with regard to the proposals submitted by the PRIs of the respective areas to the nodal department, genuineness and benefits of the work to the community, besides estimation and DPR formulation was also discussed in detail.
The DDC directed the line departments to take up only those works which can be executed in hassle free manner and benefit the maximum number of people.
The departments were asked to conduct a preliminary exercise by inspecting the ground level situation and feasibility of all the proposed works to ensure smooth and time bound completion.
With regard to estimation and DPR formulation, the DDC asked the line departments to get it done in seven days and submit the same to the RDD - the nodal department.
He said this will facilitate formulation of a composite DPR and immediate release of funds for speedy execution of the approved works.
