| Civil Defence Wardens' meeting held | | |

JAMMU, Nov 16: A meeting of Civil Defence (CD) wardens was held at Civil Defence Control Room Jammu. The meeting was chaired by Anita Pawar, DySP Dy Controller Civil Defence Jammu.
The meeting was attended by Paramjir Kumar Chief Warden CD Jammu, R Vijay Mangotra newly elevated Dy Chief Warden CD Jammu, Vinod Sharma Divisional Warden CD Jammu, Vijay Singh Pathnia Post Warden CD Jammu and Harcharan Singh Post Warden CD Jammu.
Besides, a large number of Sector Wardens of CD Jammu also attended the wardens' meeting. The main agenda of the meeting was to gear up the CD Activities i.e. organizing awareness camps in local areas, conducting of Civil Defence demonstrations, conducting of CD Trainings etc.
While addressing the meeting Dy Controller CD Jammu appreciated the role of Civil Defence wardens who are the back bone of the Civil Defence Organization. Dy Controller CD Jammu conveyed the instructions received from higher offices for the betterment of the CD organization. The wardens were asked to prepare the list of volunteers for 5 days CD Training. She asked CD Wardens to organize awareness camps in their areas with regard to preventive measures during Earth Quake, Fire Fighting, First Aid, Flood Rescue & Drug menace and follow up the SOPs as well as guidelines issued from time to time by the Govt of UT J&K regarding COVID-19. |
