| GDC Thannamandi organizes symposium on Seerat-Un-Nabi (s.a.w.) | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Nov 17: GDC Thannamandi, Department of Arabic, organized a symposium on Seerat-Un-Nabi s.a.w. The function was presided over by principal of the college Prof (Dr) Javaid Ahmed Qazi. The symposium was organized to throw light on the life of prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and to follow the principles of truth and Honesty. A large number of students along with staff members were present on the occasion. Shazina Koser of 5th Sem bagged 1st position, 2nd position was achieved by Sadia Koser of 5th Sem and 3rd position was secured by Sumara Koser of 5th Sem. Earlier the programme started with the welcome address by HOD Arabic Dr Nahiem Un Nisa, organizer of this programme. The judges of this symposium were Prof Muddasir Majeed HOD Islamic Studies, HOD Geography (Dr) Khalid Reyaz and Prof Fatima Qazi HOD Political Science. Formal vote of thanks was presented by HOD Urdu Dr Shoket Ali. The programme was moderated by Maheen Fatima, student of 5th Sem. |
