EEPC INDIA holds seminar on knowledge & capacity building session on export promotion

JAMMU, Nov 17: Engineering Exports Promotion Council of India (EEPC INDIA) held a seminar on knowledge and capacity building session on export promotion during the ongoing celebrations of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” under the guidance of Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
This knowledge and capacity building programme was sponsored by Punjab National Bank, NSE, ECGC, BSE, and My Forexeye in association with BBIA and Jammu Chamber of Commerce & Industries.
Kamna Raj Aggarwalla Regional Chairperson (NR) EEPC India welcomed the participants and delivered key note address.
Yatender Kumar, DGM Circle Head, Jammu addressed the participants and deliberated on credit facilities available for the exporters like packing & post shipment credit facilities and other export promotion incentives. A presentation on export finance was also given by the International Banking Division team from PNB Head office New Delhi and clarified the points raised by the participants.
Anand Singh GM of ECGC deliberated on range of insurance covers to Indian exporters against the risk of non–realization of export proceeds due to commercial or political risks, covers to exporters and banks. Ritesh Victor Co- Founder & Country Head Marketing Risk Advisory &TPO, My Forexeye Fintech Pvt Ltd presentation by senior officers from NSE was also given during the session.
LG Manoj Sinha presided over the award presentations ceremony and presented mementos to the best performers in this 50th Northern Region function; guest of honor Ranjan Prakash Thakur, Principal Secretary, Industries & Commerce J&K was also present on the occasion.
