| GDC Kunjwani organizes peace, communal harmony rally | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 23: NSS Unit of Govt Degree College (GDC) Kunjwani Jammu organized a peace rally as a part of celebration of communal harmony week today under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amruit Mahautsav.
NSS volunteers along with staff of the college participated in the rally which was flagged off by Prof Hans Raj, Principal of the College. It began from GDC Kunjwani and culminated at college campus via passing through Mansarover Enclave, Kaluchak and Kunjwani Chowk.
The purpose of the rally was to create awareness to maintain peace, harmony and brotherhood among the masses. During the rally students were chanting slogans and carrying placards related to maintain peace and communal harmony.
The security arrangements were made by SHO Police Station Gangyal to avoid any untoward incident during the rally. The rally was organized by Dr Manjeet Singh, NSS Programme Officer of the College.
