| DC reviews progress of ADF works; sets monthly targets | | |  Early Times Report
RAMBAN, Dec 10: Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mussarat Islam today reviewed the physical and financial progress on works taken up under Area Development Fund (ADF) in the district.
Assistant Commissioner Development, Zameer Rishu; Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Swran Singh; DPO, Ashok Singh; BDOs and officers of REW and other field functionaries attended the meeting.
While reviewing the progress in different Blocks, the DC directed the BDOs, Engineering wing of RDD and other field functionaries of Rural Development Department to achieve 70% physical and financial progress on developmental works sanctioned under DDC, BDC and Panchayat area development fund by the end of December. He further asked them to achieve the 100% target before the end of current fiscal.
The DC directed the ACD to set monthly targets for each Block to accelerate the execution of works of public importance.
The DC asked the BDOs and other concerned officers to take help from DDC Councilors, BDC members and local Sarpanches and Panches especially to sensitize the newly registered contractors to take part in the tendering process which is underway in their respective blocks.
The DC directed the officers of REW and other field staff to immediately start all allotted construction works by guiding the new contractors about time limits besides ensuring the quality of works as per guidelines. |
