| GDC Jindrah pays tributes to CDS Gen Rawat, other martyrs | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 10: The NSS unit of Government Degree College (GDC) Jindrah in collaboration with Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat (EBSB) Club held a prayer meet and paid tribute to India’s first Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Bipin Rawat and other martyrs on their sudden demise in a helicopter crash.
The NSS volunteers and staff along with the Principal paid tributes with heavy heart to all the brave soldiers who met with a tragic accident at Coonoor, Tamil Nadu.
Prof. Rajshree Dhar, Principal condoled General Bipin Rawat and other martyrs’ passing and also spoke about the contributions and sacrifices made by the deceased towards the integrity of the nation.
The volunteers and staff also observed two minutes silence in respect of brave departed souls. The moment of silence was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Sunil Sharma,
Program officer, NSS Unit of GDC Jindrah. Dr. Seema, Librarian and member of NSS team compiled the heartfelt prayer meet.
