| Ex-Services League to greet children of martyrs on their birthdays | | |

JAMMU, Dec 10: Major General Goverdhan Singh Jamwal, President of J&K Ex-Services League today announced a unique practice to be implemented with immediate effect of visiting the martyr families on the occasion of birthdays of their wards and presenting them tokens of gratitude of the nation.
The gift and the card will be presented by the District/Tehsil Presidents of the Ex-Servicemen League. They will also enquire about the welfare of the family and if there is any problem he will report to the head office and also try to alleviate it locally with the help of the army, civil administration, Sainik welfare department and report to the Head Office with photographs of the visit to be published in the local press and in the Ex-Servicemen Patrika. |
