Omar Abdullah master of mis-governance criticizing GOI: Bali Bhagat
12/12/2021 10:25:57 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 12: Coming down heavily against NC leader and former chief Minister Omar Abdullah over his remarks on government of India (GoI) snatching jobs and land from the people, former Minister and senior BJP leader, Bali Bhagat said that young dynast can no longer misled the youths of J&K by his fake narratives because there are no takers for his canards.
In a statement issued to media persons, the BJP stalwart said that the normalcy in Kashmir is being endorsed by all in the country and even abroad. He said as per government reports, a total of 1,27,605 tourists visited Kashmir Valley in November this year which is more than all the figures in the month in the past seven years. But for NC and its leaders the definition of normalcy is different. He said that normalcy in the dictionary of National Conference means situation in Kashmir during 2010, he added.
Bali Bhagat reminded Omar Abdullah that when he was the Chief Minister of erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir in 2010, rubber bullets, teargas shells and also live ammunition was fired on the protesting youth of Kashmir, resulting in 112 deaths, including many teenagers including an 11 year old boy. Besides this 1,200 youth were arrested, he said was that normalcy or what Kashmir is witnessing today? He said that BJP has some principles and ethics, therefore it cannot emulate NC to get that sort of normalcy.
The former minister said that BJP doesn't need any certificate of normalcy from Omar or his ilk as the entire world knows the contribution of BJP in bailing out people from tumult and turmoil in Kashmir. He asked Omar to have a look into facts and figures before giving misleading statements. He questioned him to tell the world that how many people from outside UT have got jobs here and how many bought the land? He said that the time has changed and now it is next to impossible to befool people by concocting stories which are unfounded and untrue.
Bali Bhagat said that Omar's stance is provocative, anti youth and anti people, and an attempt to spread bogus narrative in the Valley and elsewhere.
The senior BJP leader said Abdullah's can purchase property in London, Dubai and in Delhi but no other Indian should have a right to purchase land in J&K UT. "Such forces are provoking and forcing other states to pass a law to restrict the JKUT residents from getting jobs and land there", he said and appealed to the youth to understand the dangerous design conceived by NC and other parties to continue the scourge of unrest and terror in the Valley. He said that like people of Jammu, the Kashmiris should also gauge the situation in the right perspective and reject such outfits, to bring in lasting peace and development.
He said people of Kashmir will never forget Omar's love' with their children and they will teach NC a lesson at an appropriate time.
