JAMMU, Dec 12: General body meeting of J&K Amateur Boxing Association was held today at Amar Singh Club, here. With Prof. Ashutosh Sharma, Working President of the Association in the chair, members from J&K Boxing Association including districts were present.
Santosh Dutta, from Boxing Federation of India, Kuldeep Singh Jamwal from J&K Olympic Association and Madam Musabat Ismail from J&K Sports Council attended the meeting as observers.
Returning Officer Gagan Kohli, senior advocate appointed by the Working President J&K Amateur Boxing Association announced the names of the newly elected office bearers for the next term of four years.
Dr. Nirmolak Singh was elected as President, Anil Khajuria, Senior Vice-President, Farooq Ahmed Khan Vice-President (Kashmir), Vinay Gupta Vice-President (Jammu), Rajan Sharma, Honorary General Secretary, and Harinder Gupta, Honorary Treasurer. Executive members were also elected along with some other office bearers. |
