DC Rajouri chairs introductory meet with district, sectoral officers

RAJOURI, Dec 20: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today chaired the introductory meeting with District/Sectoral Officers, here in the Conference Hall of the PWD Dak Bungalow. Among the others, SSP, Mohd Aslam; ADDC, Pawan Kumar; DFO Rajouri, Arshdeep Singh; DFO Nowshera, Neelima Shah; ADC Rajouri, Sachin Dev Singh; ADC Sunderbani, Vinod Kumar Behnal; ADC Nowshera, Sukhdev Singh Sambayal; ADC Kalakote, Krishan Lal; ACR, Tahir Mustafa Malik; ACD, Sushil Khajuria; CEO RDA, Vivek Puri; DSEO, Bilal Rashid Mir; ACP, Abdul Rashid Kohli; PO ICDS, Kartar Singh; AC Defence, Saleem Qureshi besides all District and Sectoral officers attended the meeting. Addressing the officers, the Deputy Commissioner enjoined upon them to make endeavours aimed to ensure prompt execution of works and holistic development of the district. He further asked the officers to work with utmost dedication and commitment for the general welfare of the public.
He asked to ensure close interdepartmental coordination for planned execution of works and development in the district.
The DC also asked the officers to remain stationed at their Headquarters and don’t leave their offices without prior permission of the DM. He also launched a calendar of activities for Good Governance Week which will be observed across the district from December 20 to December 25, 2021.
Highlighting the objective of the Good Governance Week, the DC said that the program aims to take good administration down to villages and facilitate quality disposal of public grievances.
He also informed that a series of activities will be organised to redress pending public grievances and provide quality services to them at their doorsteps.
Directing the officers to make added efforts for promotion of Good Governance practices during the Week, he said the campaign has been launched under the Aegis of the ongoing Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav with the theme ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur’. The DC asked the government functionaries to adopt a people-friendly attitude to ensure time bound redress of public grievances.
