| Mission Director reviews the functioning of colleges under RUSA Scheme | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 23: Mission Director, Rashtriya Uchchtar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA), Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar today chaired a meeting to review the functioning of colleges under various components of RUSA Scheme.
Director professional college Poonch, Principal Degree College Gool, principal Degree college Marwah, Mandhar chief Engineer PWD ,Deputy General Manager JKPCC Kathua , Registrar Jammu University and other officials of the RUSA were present during the meeting.
On the occasion, Dr Sehrish stressed upon the officials that the pending works under RUSA 1 should be completed on priority basis. She called upon the head of institutions and executive agencies to be proactive in completion of time bound projects and to further expedite for early submission of the utilization certificates.
The meeting also reviewed the physical and financial status of civil works under the different components of the scheme and the concerned officials informed that all the works taken up under RUSA-2, shall be completed in the stipulated time.
The Mission director asked the concerned officials to formulate a roadmap of development, financial requirement of academic activities ,building of infrastructure etc. under the scheme which will be monitored on regular basis. On the occasion, the concerned officials, informed the meeting about the detailed physical cum financial progress of funds sanctioned to college under RUSA 2.0. |
