| Incorporate special funds for old & infirm in next J&K Budget | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 1: Citizens' Forum requested Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to incorporate special funds for old & infirm in next J&K UT Budget
Citizens' Forum president RK Chadha said that since ages we have never seen a special budget for Old and Infirm citizens of J&K in any budget, central or state level. We believe this country have Commission for Animals, and Gaushalas for holy Cows but not proper dwellings for unfortunate old and infirm citizens to have full hygienic accommodations in this UT, he added.
Chadha along with all super senior citizen members requested Sitharaman that while proposing the new Budget for J&K UT, incorporate special funds for the unfortunate old and infirm people who are living on donations of general public.
We requested J&K government to construct a proper building to accommodate all such invalid people in one decent building with all proper living facilities with food and lodging under one roof. Counting the number of people suffering from all small dingy unhygienic buildings with 25% extra capacity Old Home project be got prepared from experts in the country and funds be exclusively incorporated in the coming UT Budget. We are not asking moon but just a decent living conditions for invalid people to accommodate them under one roof and proper security, said Chadha. |
