4th terror hideout busted in Kishtwar in last 48 hours

KISHTWAR, Jan 1: In a major success on terror related front, Kishtwar police, 17 RR and 152 Bn CRPF in a joint operation busted another terror hideout in Dachhan area of the District and recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition from the said terror hideout which is the 4th terror hideout busted in joint security forces operation.
The latest hideout was busted in Haddal Nala of Tandar Dachhan by Kishtwar Police, Army 17 RR and CRPF 152 Bn Kishtwar and recovered One 12 Bore rifle, One wireless Set, 104 AK ammunition , 2 UBGL, grenade and 01 Blasting Device from the said hideout.
This is 4th terror hideout busted in last 48 hours in Kishtwar District which is a major setback to Hizb terror outfit.
Earlier yesterday, Kishtwar police and army (17 RR) in a joint operation busted three terror hideouts in Kalnu Nallah area of Tander Dachan and recovered 120 rounds of AK 47 and one hand grande.
The searches are being carried out in different areas of Kishtwar district following the inputs of movement of some militants.
Police sources told the Early Times that two suspects who are helping the militants have been identified, adding that the manhunt has been launched to arrest them.
The searches are also underway in the vicinity of Kishtwar town which is under cordon for the last 48 hours. Senior police officials said that the search operation will continue.
