DDC Chairman holds public grievance redressal camp at Bhalra

DODA, Jan 1: District Development Council Chairperson Doda, Dhananter Singh Kotwal today chaired a public redressal camp here at Govt Hr Sec School Bhalra wherein locals and key Officials of various departments were also present.
At the outset, a memorandum of issues and other requirements of the area were submitted to the Chairman. The speakers from different walks of life including public representatives raised various issues of immediate public importance for which the Chairman paid patient hearing.
The DDC assured that all of their feasible issues shall be addressed by the concerned authorities immediately while the demands regarding development would be covered in the next financial year plan.
With regard to the transparent functioning of the line departments, the DDC stressed upon all officers to direct their field functionaries to ensure integrity while serving the general public. He further asked them to take strict action against employees if found indulging in unfair practices.
The DDC also said that crores of rupees are being given by the govt under various heads for the overall development of each Panchayat, including the special grants given for the first time to the Panchayati Raj institutions at Panchayat, Block and district level to improve the life of rural people.
The DDC Chairperson urged locals to recommend development of community assets rather than creation of individual assets.
The DDC Chairperson assured locals that KV shall be started very soon in the area, while other important developmental projects shall be taken into consideration for the overall development of this area especially.
Among others present during the program were DDC member Thakur Yudhvir Singh, BDC Chairperson Bhaderwah Omi Chand, ADC Bhaderwah Rakesh Kumar, Tehsildar Bhaderwah Shoket Hayat, BDO Bhaderwah, besides local Representatives and senior citizens were also present during the program.
