| PM Kisan Saman Nidhi prog: Live streaming of PM’s address held across Doda District | | |  Early Times Report
DODA, Jan 1: District Administration Doda today hosted live streaming of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address as he released over Rs 20,900 crore to more than 10.09 crore farmers across India as 10th installment of financial aid under the PM-KISAN scheme.
The PM released the amount to beneficiaries at an event held through video conference.
An impressive function was held in Agriculture Complex Doda in which a huge number of farmers were present. Similar live streaming was held in other parts of the District in the presence of field functionaries of the Agriculture Department.
Arrangements for the live telecast of the programme was made for the farmers at District H.Q. and other zonal H.Q in which Prime Minister was interacting with farmers of different states.
The farmers evinced great interest in the functioning of FPOs in the country. The 10th installment of PM-Kisan was released into the Account of Farmers of District by the Prime Minister along with other parts of the country. At least 50,000 farmers of District Doda are registered on PM- Kisan Nidhi Portal, which are benefiting from the scheme.
Special camps were also organized at various levels to register leftover farmers for the PM Kisan scheme, redress their grievances and conduct physical verification/Aadhar corrections, if any.
At District H.Q Chief Agriculture Officer, District Agriculture Officer (Ext) Area Development Officer (veg), Sub. Divisional Agriculture Officer Pranoo and functionaries of the Department attended the programme. |
