| Four ventilator fitted beds should be provided at every PHC: Ajay Sadhotra | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 3: National Conference leader Ajay Kumar Sadhotra today said that government should provide four ventilator fitted beds and 10 oxygen fitted in every Primary Health Centre of Jammu & Kashmir.
Sadhotra said this while addressing a meeting of prominent workers of Block Bhalwal. He said that last time government took a decision to provide oxygen gas cylinder fitted beds in every Panchayat. The decision was welcomed by one and all but to utter surprise neither oxygen cylinder nor trained person to operate was provided and the decision was implemented.
"The government should ensure that this decision is implemented in letter & spirit so that immediate oxygen fitted bed is provided to the patient. He also urged the governemnt to put Omicron and COVID-19 preparedness programme to treat and prevention in public domain so that people could know in case of illness where to go for treatment and to avoid panic," said Sadhotra. He appealed to the people to follow protocol as time to time issued by the government so as to fight Covid-19. |
