Early Times Report

JAMMU, Jan 3: BSF, CISF aspirants today staged a peaceful protest after the alleged statement of government which said that 2000 vacancies of BSF, CISF have been filled up, which has triggered a controversy.
The aspirants of BSF, CISF demanded clarification on his statement demanding information about when these posts were filled up and who were the beneficiaries. They alleged that there is total contradiction in the statement as earlier it was said that there are only 1356 posts and now the government has said that 2000 posts were filled up.
“If 2000 posts were filled up then who were the beneficiaries despite the fact that we had cleared Medial, Physical, Written then. The government should disclose those who were adjusted in rest of the posts,” they alleged.
Commenting on the recent government statement that some BJP leaders made false promises, the protesting aspirants alleged no BJP leader made promises with them of adjusting in these posts as it was the government that made false promises with them that they will be adjusted in given posts. They said that the government had given a false statement that these protesting aspirants are unfit for the posts.
After being stopped by the police for taking out peaceful protest, the aspirants said that carrying out protest is their democratic right but they are shocked with the attitude of the administration that they have been stopped to do the same.
“The government has nothing to do with the problems of the people of Jammu youth as they are enjoying which has been given to them by the people through their votes,” they said further adding that they have been getting over age for these posts with each passing day. They appealed Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to give them an appointment for a meeting with him so that they can explain their problems.
